Martin Bashir used ‘deceitful behaviour’ to interview Diana

A landmark inquiry has concluded that Martin Bashir used “deceitful behaviour" towards Princess Diana’s brother to secure an interview with her in BBC’s 1995 Panorama interview. In the Lord Dyson report released on Thursday, it was found that the former BBC reporter mocked up fake documents which he allegedly used to gain access to Diana.Mr. Bashir has apologised for his actions, revealing the false bank statements were “an action [he] deeply regret[s].”Charles Spencer revealed on Twitter his relief over the findings.
