In an interview with Bloomberg, Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige explained how the upcoming small-screen projects for Disney's streaming service are interlocked with the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

With the MCU's Phase 3 now complete following this year's Spider-Man: Far From Home, the superhero powerhouse is introducing a televisual landscape to Disney+ for certain characters to thrive in.

That includes WandaVision, Loki and Falcon and the Winter Solider, TV shows which Feige said are integral to understanding the franchise's Phase 4 films.

The report says (via Twitter): "If you want to understand everything in future Marvel movies, he says, you'll probably need a Disney+ subscription because events from the new shows will factor into forthcoming films such as Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

"The Scarlet Witch will be a key character in that movie, and Feige points out that the Loki series will tie in, too. 'I'm not sure we've actually acknowledged that before,' he says. 'But it does.'"
