The John Wick star is reportedly in negotiations to appear in Marvel’s new movie which centres on a group of immortal beings who possess god-like abilities having been created by cosmic deities the Celestials.
According to MCU Cosmic the talks are still early for Reeves and Marvel but a foray into the superhero genre would be a long time coming for the action her known for his roles in Speed, The Matrix franchise and, of course, John Wick.
The actor would be joining the likes of Angelina Jolie and Richard Madden (Bodyguard) for the film to be directed by Chloe Zhao (The Rider) and written by Matthew and Ryan Firpo.
It is believed that Jolie will play the character Sersi, one of the Eternals the movie is set to be based around. Ikaris is the other character to take a central role which Madden has been reportedly lined-up to play.
Korean actor Ma Dong-seok (Train to Busan) is also set to join the cast as well Kumail Nanjiani (The Big Sick).
