Marvel Cinematic Universe: Phase 2 Preview (VO)by El Séptimo Arte

The video kicks off with an ‘Iron Man 3’ preview, including some unseen behind-the-scenes footage plus cast and crew interviews, setting up Iron Man as the centerpiece to Marvel’s cinematic universe, before moving onto the studio’s 2013/14 slate.

“With Phase One we wanted to build up to something big,” says Marvel president Kevin Feige, “and now as we start again, remind them Tony Stark is an incredibly fascinating character on his own, and begin to build Phase Two from that…”

And there’s a lot packed into the rest of the 4min 43 sec Marvel clip:

- Behind-the-scenes ‘Thor: The Dark World’ footage

“A lot of the fun of the first film was bringing Thor to Earth,” reveals director Alan Taylor, “and in the second one we will see Jane Foster taken to Asgard and beyond.”

- Concept art for ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’

Co-Producer Nate Moore teases: “Much like everything in Cap’s life, things that you thought were long dead sometimes come back to haunt you.”

- More concept art for ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’

“It’s really a space epic, about deadly, kick-ass cosmic warriors,” says director James Gunn.

- Awesome test footage for ‘Ant-Man’

It’s another chance to see that footage (which has previously been ruthlessly purged from the internet) of a fight scene shot by director Edgar Wright that many reckon was his ‘pitch for the job’. It shows in a rather cool way why Ant-Man’s powers would be useful in a fight.

- Finally, Joss Whedon talking ‘Avengers 2’

“We’re still in the early stages of pre-production” he says. “Already what we have is something extraordinary.

“You haven’t seen anything yet,” the video signs-off.
