Angelina Jolie's upcoming neo-Western Those Who Wish Me Dead has announced that it will be releasing on May 14.
Based on Michael Koryta's best-selling novel of the same name, the film – which has been described as "female-driven" – centres on a 14-year-old who is forced to adopt a whole new life after witnessing a brutal murder.
Despite hiding out under a false identity in the Montana wilderness, the youngster finds themselves pursued by twin assassins, and looks to a survival expert for protection.
Hell or High Water scribe Taylor Sheridan writes and directs, while Medina Senghore, Finn Little, Jake Weber, Tyler Perry, Aidan Gillen, Jon Bernthal and Nicholas Hoult round out the cast.
In November this year, Jolie will hopefully be seen in long-awaited Marvel movie Eternals, which follows a race of superpowered, seemingly immortal beings and kicks off the MCU's Phase 4.
Directed by The Rider's Chloé Zhao, Eternals also features Game of Thrones stars Kit Harington and Richard Madden, The Big Sick's Kumail Nanjiani, Atlanta's Brian Tyree Henry, The Walking Dead's Lauren Ridloff and Captain Marvel's Gemma Chan.
Those Who Wish Me Dead is hoping to release in UK cinemas on Friday, May 14. It will come out in the US on the same day, in theatres and on HBO Max.
