Marvel and Luther star Idris Elba is starring in a new adventure thriller called Beast, and it's now been given a release date.
The film will be released in cinemas on August 19, 2022.
The Heimdall actor will play the father of two girls who are being hunted by a giant rogue lion in South Africa.
The film is being directed by Baltasar Kormákur, who previously made Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg movie 2 Guns, while Rampage writer Ryan Engle is behind the script.
Elba has also teamed up with Extraction director Sam Hargrave for an assassin thriller about a man who somehow survives a bullet to the head, and has to finish the job he was hired to do in time to go home and spend Christmas with his son.
There's also the long-awaited and finally confirmed big-screen movie for his aforementioned gritty BBC One detective drama Luther, which is meant to start shooting later this year.
"I'm super excited and I hope the fans are sort of excited for that," he recently said. "It's been a long time coming for a movie, so I'm excited about that."
And there's also the DC comic book movie The Suicide Squad, which is out on July 30 in the UK.
Elba has been cast as Bloodsport, although he was originally playing Deadshot, the character Will Smith played in the first film.
