Netflix sci-fi They Cloned Tyrone has added Jamie Foxx and Teyonah Parris to its cast, which already includes John Boyega.
As reported by Deadline, Creed 2 scribe Juel Taylor will direct this one, while the film itself is described as a "pulpy mystery caper" where three individuals (played by Boyega, Foxx and Parris) investigate eerie events.
Parris is part of the upcoming Candyman reboot opposite Watchmen's Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, while she's also portraying Monica Rambeau in Marvel's WandaVision series on Disney+ soon.
Boyega concluded his time in the Star Wars universe with the release of The Rise of Skywalker last year, and has previously appeared in the likes of Attack the Block, Detroit and Pacific Rim: Uprising.
Meanwhile, Foxx's involvement with They Cloned Tyrone extends his relationship with the streaming service after starring in this summer's Project Power.
In that film, humans can acquire a random superpower for five minutes by swallowing a pill, and co-director Ariel Schulman recently revealed some unused concepts.
"We really wanted to see cheetah power – we didn't try it, though; we never got so far as to try. The writers' room process of coming up with powers that were achievable was a long and arduous process," he revealed.
"But yeah, cheetah power was something we thought would have been practically easy to film and would look really cool. Basically, a human at hyper-speed."
