Marvel is giving 2015's Ant-Man a retrospective 4K Steelbook release ahead of its upcoming threequel.

Zavvi has announced pre-order details for a re-designed home video collection for the blockbuster, complete with new graphic cover artwork illustrating Scott Lang's incredible shrinking ability.

The hero is definitely front and centre on this new Ant-Man artwork, but it's his insect buddies who really take the spotlight with a giant-sized depiction.

In addition to this new artwork and Steelbook packaging, Zavvi's exclusive product includes three behind-the-scenes featurettes with Paul Rudd, the cast and crew about making the Marvel film.

A gag reel with some of the funniest on-set moments is included too, as well as a selection of deleted and extended scenes that couldn't make the final cut of director Peyton Reed's film.

Marvel Studios' Ant-Man - Mondo #47 Zavvi Exclusive 4K Ultra HD Steelbook is released on January 17, 2022, but you can place pre-orders now for £29.99.

Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly and Peyton Reed are all returning for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, where the superheroes will battle Jonathan Majors' Loki villain Kang the Conqueror (aka He Who Remains aka Rama Tut aka Immortus). Kang really does have a lot of variants!

Comedy legend Bill Murray also recently let slip that he has a role in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, though he has since been sworn to secrecy over talking about the movie.

Those rumours of Schitt's Creek star Dan Levy appearing in the movie don't seem to be true though, as the actor insisted he was only having dinner with Rudd near the set in London for a social visit.

Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania is released in cinemas on July 28, 2023.
