Me Before You Trailer Will Bring A Tear To Your Eyes

Starring Sam Claflin and Emilia Clarke, ‘Me Before You’ is based on the novel of the same name by Jojo Moyes… and follows the story of a high-achieving, wealthy young man whose life is turned upside down after a terrible accident.

But can his fun-loving new carer get through to him?

Of course, Emilia Clarke is known for landing strong female roles such as Daenerys Targaryen in ‘Game of Thrones’ and playing a young Sarah Connor in ‘Terminator: Genisys’.

But while a more down to earth role may be new territory for the young actress, it looks as though she’s had plenty of practice.

“It’s funny with these strong female roles,“ said Emilia Clarke in an interview with USA Today. “I’m really quite clumsy, say the wrong thing all the time and am awkward at the best of times. My friends and family have seen this other person every single day.”

Directed by Thea Sharrock, ‘Me Before You’ is a heart-warming yet bittersweet drama that will melt the frostiest of hearts… and that’s even apparent in this brief trailer.

“I don’t want you to miss all the things someone else could give you,” says Claflin in one of the tearier moments of the trailer. And if you’ve read the original book, you’ll know why that is such a tearjerker.

‘Me Before You’ stars a predominantly British cast, including Charles Dance, Jenna Coleman, Matthew Lewis, Vanessa Kirby, Stephen Peacocke, Brendan Coyle and Janet McTeer.

‘Me Before You’ heads to cinemas on 3 June 2016.
