Back in the day, there used to be this thing called royal protocol. It was in place to ensure that people like Kate Middleton dressed in a particular way; ie, largely covered up and always looking smart.

And in the beginning of Meghan Markle's life as a royal, she seemed to play along with the rules for a bit. Remember when Meghan was blasted for not wearing tights during her official engagement photo call, so for her first appearance as Harry's wife, she made sure she had a pair on?

Well, now Meghan is ignoring the tights, bare shoulders and 'not wearing a thigh split dress' rules altogether. Oh and she's getting her feet out, which is apparently a break of royal protocol, too.

YAS MEGHAN.

The Duchess of Sussex was snapped in her rule-breaking outfit while on a tour of Fraser Island, Australia, with hubby Prince Harry. And you know what, we're here for it!

Meghan wore a dress by Reformation, which is sadly already sold out, featuring spaghetti straps and a pretty daring thigh split. You do you, Meghan!

The linen dress was definitely the right choice for the pregnant Duchess considering the weather in that particular part of Australia right now is a balmy 24 degrees. She paired it with some black Karen Walker sunglasses, and a pair of Sarah Flint sandals.
