Meghan Markle, a champion for women’s rights, is allegedly really upset to hear about the Prince Andrew allegations.
The Telegraph says Meghan is “horrified” about his denial of having sex with a teenage girl.
If there’s one thing to know about Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, it’s that she is a fierce supporter of gender equality and women’s empowerment. I mean, have you seen that video of her at 12 years old getting a commercial removed from the air for being sexist? Meghan’s been about that life since day one.
So that’s why when Meghan caught wind of the terrible allegations surrounding Prince Andrew and his sexual coercion of Virginia Giuffre—a 17-year-old girl, mind you—and his connection to Jeffrey Epstein, she was absolutely disgusted.
According to a report by The Telegraph, Meghan is “horrified by the manner in which the Duke of York dismissed allegations that he had sex with a teenager.” Which, yeah, the whole thing is insanely f*cked up. Raise your hand if you agree with Meghan! 🙋
The age of consent in the UK is 16, but the allegations against Andrew came to a head this week when he stepped down from his royal duties with the queen’s permission and discussed his involvement with Epstein publicly.
“It has become clear to me over the last few days that the circumstances relating to my former association with Jeffrey Epstein has become a major disruption to my family’s work and the valuable work going on in the many organizations and charities that I am proud to support,” he stated.

After Andrew announced he’d be stepping down, he said, “I continue to unequivocally regret my ill-judged association with Jeffrey Epstein.”
Prince William, Kate Middleton, and Prince Harry have yet to make any statements on the matter, publicly or through ~sources~, but I will relentlessly be staying tuned just in case.
