Ever since Donald Trump was voted the 45th President of the United States Of America documentarian Michael Moore has been the offensive to try and challenge the Republican.

Not only did Michael Moore’s “Morning After To-Do List” the day after the election go viral, but he’s been using Facebook live during his attendance at protests outside Trump Tower, and now he’s decided who needs to challenge Donald Trump at the 2020 election.

Tom Hanks. Or Oprah Winfrey. Basically it needs to be a celebrity.

Michael Moore made this revelation during his appearance on CNN’s State Of The Union show, where he insisted that the Democratic party need to follow Trump’s lead and have a populist candidate in four years time.

“Democrats would be better off if they ran Oprah [Winfrey] or Tom Hanks,” remarked Moore. “Why don’t we run beloved people? We have so many of them”

“The Republicans do this – they run [Ronald] Reagan and the Terminator [Arnold Schwarzeneger] and other people. Why don’t we run somebody that the American people love and are really drawn to, and that are smart and have good politics and all that?”

Unfortunately for Moore neither Tom Hanks nor Oprah Winfrey have shown any interest in running for office. Yet. In case they don’t Moore needs to look no further than Dwayne Johnson, who has refused to rule out running for President in 2020.
