Miles Teller is totally ripped in first Bleed For This UK trailer

The first trailer for Miles Teller boxing drama ‘Bleed For This’ is in, and it looks like it packs a fair punch.

Teller plays boxer Vinny Pazienza, the real-life light middleweight boxer who at the peak of his career was involved in a devastating car accident.

Disregarding his doctor’s orders, he continued training despite having a broken neck, and made an astonishing comeback.

It also stars Aaron Eckhart as boxing trainer Kevin Rooney and the excellent Ciarán Hinds as Angelo Pazienza.

Quite apart from giving us a peak at his leopard print posing pouch, it gives us the chance to witness Teller’s muscle-bound transformation for the role.

Pictures emerged of him last year while he was in training for the role, and looking seriously cut too.

“When I started training I was like 188 and like 18 percent body fat,” he told E Online. “I got down to 168 and six percent.

“It started out with just diet and kind of fixing your body with that stuff. And then I just got into really serious boxing training. I would do like four hours boxing, two hours weights [and] two hours physical therapy.”

This was made all the more tricky because he was filming ‘Fantastic Four’ and ‘Insurgent’ almost back to back.

“That was pretty killer,” he went on.

“When I was filming the ‘Fantastic Four’ and I was filming ‘Insurgent’, I was training for that. It was about an eight month process by the time it was all said and done.”

The movie, written and directed by Ben Younger, is due out in the UK on December 2.
