COVID-19 Lockdown: 8 labourers killed after truck accident in MP

Eight labourers were killed and as many as 50 injured after the truck they were travelling in collided with a bus in Madhya Pradesh's Guna late on Wednesday, 13 May, ANI reported. The deceased were reportedly on their way to their hometowns in Uttar Pradesh from Maharashtra amid the lockdown. Meanwhile, India has recorded over 74,200 cases of COVID-19 so far, including 47,480 active cases, 2,415 deaths, 24,385 cured or discharged cases, and one case where the patient has migrated, according to the Health Ministry data. 6 killed as bus runs over migrant workers walking home in West UP

Six migrant workers were killed near Muzaffarnagar in Western Uttar Pradesh allegedly after being run over by a bus late on the night of Wednesday 13 May. The accident is said to have taken place at around 11 PM. Read more
