Yahoo Movies This Morning's Ruth threw dinner at husband Eamonn over disappointing Christmas gift
Don't get This Morning's Ruth Langsford a rubbish present for Christmas, otherwise you'll end up with food in your face.
That's exactly what happened to her husband Eamonn Holmes one Christmas after he got her a less than thoughtful gift.
Speaking to The Mirror, Eamonn said: "When Ruth and I first started dating she gave me 44 presents and I gave her five. She is addicted to Christmas.
"Then there’s the year we didn’t talk. I’d been busy working on GMTV and doing three quiz shows a day.
"Ruth told me not to worry about presents for her… so I gave her an envelope of money and she threw the turkey dinner across the table and right down my front."
Sounds like a waste of turkey.
Back in July, Eamonn joked that Ruth is "difficult to live with", although overall they're happy together.
Speaking on the White Wine Question Time podcast, the presenter opened up about their relationship, claiming he loves her more than she loves him.
"She calls me her poet, I wouldn't hold back on how much I would tell her I love her," he said, before adding: "She's a very difficult person to live with because she's illogical with a lot of things."
Here's hoping their Christmas this year is a lot more merry.
