Just days after our first glimpse of The Boys' hotly-anticipated second season, courtesy of Eric Kripke, we've been given another look at our favourite superhero vigilante team.
In fact, you might well say that the the boys are back in town.
Karl Urban – who plays leader of The Boys, Billy Butcher – did the honours by sharing a behind-the-scenes photo from the show's set on Instagram, promising fans more of season one's hilarious, twisted antics.
Alongside the shot of his bloodied and bruised face, Karl quipped: "Totally Butcherd that one! Up to our old tricks."
For the uninitiated, The Boys' so-called "old tricks" mostly involve taking down corrupt superheroes who abuse their superpowers.
Flipping the superhero genre completely on its head, the Amazon series is set in a world where those with powers are not only revered by the public, but owned by a private corporation called Vought – and they're mostly thoroughly rotten, too.

Its winning combination of comicbook tropes, dark humour, action, and well, whatever the opposite of Marvel is, has made The Boys one of Amazon's most successful shows ever.
Head of Amazon Studios Jennifer Salke announced this week: "We are thrilled that The Boys have surpassed our predictions for viewing in its first two weeks, and has become one of our most watched Amazon Original series by our Prime Video customers.
"This creates great momentum and excitement for us as we get ready for season two."
