Peaky Blinders star Cilian Murphy, who plays main character Tommy Shelby in the BBC gangland drama, has been captured in behind-the-scene shots of filming for the sixth and final season.
The Irish actor, 44, looked every inch the dapper Brummie gangster as filming resumed for the sixth and final series in Liverpool on Thursday.
Murphy was captured alongside played by Paul Anderson, who plays his character's brother Arthur in the period drama about a murderous gang in Birmingham.
The pair can be seen donning period garb and their skin fade 1920s-style haircuts as they entered St George's Hall for filming.
Later in the evening, extras were seen filming an anti-Fascist protest, with demonstrators violently clashing with police in the rain.
A placard reading "Mosley Out" can be seen among the crowd, a reference to fascist politician Oswald Mosley who featured in terrifying scenes in series five in 2019.
Tommy Shelby, who was elected as a Labour MP in series four, is seen in series five to grow close to Mosley, who lead the British Union of Fascists (BUF) in the 1930s.
However, it was revealed his intentions were to kill the blackshirts leader who he described as "the devil himself".
But when his plot failed, season five ended in dramatic fashion, with Tommy seemingly intent on committing suicide, screaming with a pistol pointed to his head.
Producers last week confirmed Sam Claflin will make his return as the Hitler-supporting politician.
News that filming for the eagerly anticipated season six had begun was broken by the official Peaky Blinders Twitter account on 18 January.

The BBC hasn't yet announced a release date but fans are expecting it to come out in late 2021 or early 2022.
It will the final series of the show, but creator Steven Knight has confirmed he plans to end the story with a feature-length movie. Knight told Deadline: “Covid changed our plans. But I can say that my plan from the beginning was to end Peaky with a movie.
“That is what is going to happen.”
