Dane DeHaan says he's not coming back for 'Spider-Man 3'
Dane DeHaan has confirmed that he will be (virtually) the only Spider-Man villain not to be returning for the upcoming Spider-Man 3.
A raft of former franchise stars, including several former Spider-Men, will be back for the mind-mending, multiverse-embracing sequel currently filming in Atlanta.
But not DeHaan, who played Green Goblin in The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

Speaking to the Radio Times, he said: “There’s no truth to those rumours. I don’t even know how that would be pulled off.”
But he added: “I would certainly love to make some kind of movie like that again. I like making superhero movies or in that kind of world, and I’m sure I’ll find myself in that world again. And I have no idea what they’re doing with the Spider-Man movies now, but I don’t really understand a world in which that would be possible.”
Will someone please tell my mom so she can stop asking about this. 🤢 https://t.co/EJXn1YJ4Y1

DeHaan was Harry Osborne, son of Norman Osborn, the first Green Goblin, in the 2014 movie, opposite Andrew Garfield's Peter Parker.
Willem Dafoe also played the villain in the 2002 Sam Raimi Spider-Man movie.
The so-far untitled Spider-Man: Far From Home sequel, has invited all manner of characters back for the third film in the current series.

Jamie Foxx is back as Electro (from the Garfield tenure), as is Alfred Molina's Doc Oc, from the Tobey Maguire era.
Garfield and Maguire are rumored to be back too, along with Kirsten Dunst's MJ and Emma Stone's Gwen Stacy.
Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange will be turning up, along with established Spidey stars Zendaya (the current MJ), Jacob Batalon (Ned) and Marisa Tomei (Aunt May). Oh, and Tom Holland as Spider-Man.
The movie is set for release on 17 December.
