Emma Stone has suffered a shoulder injury after 'slipping on a floor', ahead of shooting the 101 Dalmatians prequel movie in London.

It was reported that Stone had been hoisted onto a friend's shoulders at the final Spice Girls tour date at Wembley, and had fallen off onto her shoulder and broken it.

However, reps for the actress have now said that the accident did not happen at the concert, and that her shoulder is not broken.

The rep also denied reports that the incident has 'plunged the movie into crisis', after claims she was told to rest up for two months.

“Production on her next film had not yet begun and this is not causing major issues in any way. They continue to be in pre-production and she’ll begin once healed,” sources told People.

Stone, who has previously admitted to being a massive Spice Girls fan while growing up, was at the concert on 13 June, singer Emma Bunton posting a shot of herself with the actress.

“When Emma met Emma,” Bunton captioned, with the hashtag #2become1.

Last year Stone revealed why she’s now Emma and not Emily.

“I was super blonde, and my real name is Emily, but I wanted to be called Emma because of Baby Spice and guess what, now I am,” she told Jimmy Fallon.

“So, that’s pretty messed up.”

Stone will be playing the villainous Cruella de Vil in Cruella, a prequel to the classic Disney movie, which was remade as a live action film in 1996 with Glenn Close.

Cruella, which also has Emma Thompson rumoured for a lead role, is slated for release in December, 2020.
