Yahoo Movies Idina Menzel confirms her return for Frozen 3
Idina Menzel has stated that she is definitely returning for Frozen 3.
The first film was released in 2013, with the sequel Frozen 2 following in 2019. That was quite a while ago now, and we've not heard all that much about the planned third outing for Elsa, Olaf and the rest of the gang.
It turns out that Idina Menzel herself doesn't know all that much, telling Billboard that she knows it will happen at some point – and when Disney needs her, it'll bring her in and only then fill her in on what's going on story-wise.
"I don't know a lot," she said. "To be completely honest, they teased it to us, and I have no idea. They don't show you a script. They don't show you anything.
"All I know is, yeah we are gonna make one, and that's it. So, I'm like, 'Cool! I will be able to pay my bills.'"
Idina was speaking to the publication as she performed at West Hollywood Pride, showing off her disco-inspired new single 'Move'. She'll be following that appearance up by performing at London Pride in just a few weeks' time.
The actress recently opened up about a request she made while recording 'Let It Go' that she has since come to regret, explaining that: "I came in once and I sang it and I came back another time, because they had written another part to it and they changed some of the lyrics.
"I realised that my voice sounded too mature, in order to really embody this young woman that you see in the movie, so I asked them to take it up [a note]. I don't know why I did that...
"As I was watching it just now, I was thinking, 'Jeez, what was I thinking there?'"
