Jack Ryan will return, but not for long, as Prime Video has announced that the show will be ending with its fourth season.

Prime Video’s adaptation of Tom Clancy’s novels will see John Krasinski portray the titular character once again, only this time he’ll be tackling his most dangerous mission yet.

Although fans are likely to be disappointed that the show is coming to an end at least there is still more to enjoy from the espionage thriller. Here is everything that we know so far.

Jack Ryan season 4 release date

The new season of Jack Ryan will have six episodes in total and it will premiere on Prime Video on Friday, 30 June with its first two episodes.

After that, two episodes will be released a week until the show’s explosive series finale which will air on Friday, 14 July.

Prime Video has teased that in the new season, Jack Ryan will have to contend with enemies both near and far as his tenure as the new CIA Acting Deputy Director sees him unearth corruption within the agency, as well as a number of suspicious black ops missions.

By doing this, Jack risks exposing the country’s vulnerabilities to its enemies and so he and his team begin investigating the corruption, leading to discover even more sinister secrets tied to a drug cartel and a terrorist organisation.

As already mentioned, Krasinski will reprise his role as Jack Ryan in the espionage thriller, and he will be joined once again by Wendell Pierce and Michael Kelly as James Greer and Mike November, respectively.

Betty Gabriel will also return as CIA Acting Director Elizabeth Wright, and Abbie Cornish will reprise her role as Cathy Mueller.

There will also be several new faces appearing in the show this season, such as Michael Peña as Domingo Chavez and Louis Ozawa as Chao Fah.

Is there a trailer for Jack Ryan season 4?

When Prime Video announced the release date for the show's fourth season it did so with a new poster featuring Krasinski in character as a teaser.

A trailer has not yet been released for the new season of Jack Ryan, but it is likely that a teaser clip will come out closer to the season’s launch date.
