Netflix UK October 2022: New movies and TV shows from 'The Midnight Club' to 'The Good Nurse'

It's Halloween on Netflix UK, which means there's plenty of spookiness on show. Guillermo del Toro presents an anthology of terrifying tales with his series Cabinet of Curiosities, while Henry Selick returns to his uniquely creepy animation style with Wendell & Wild — starring Key and Peele as a pair of demon brothers.

There's more family-friendly frights in offer in the Marlon Wayans-starring The Curse of Bridge Hollow, which follows a father and daughter trying to save their town from enchanted Halloween decorations. Paul Feig, meanwhile, takes on the fairy tale genre with the help of Charlize Theron and Cate Blanchett in The School for Good and Evil.

Away from the overtly Halloween-focused material, Eddie Redmayne takes on perhaps his darkest ever role in The Good Nurse, in which he plays a medical practitioner accused of killing patients. Elsewhere, Mila Kunis leads the mystery thriller Luckiest Girl Alive as a magazine writer forced to confront horrifying events from her past.
