Kate Beckinsale is back in ‘Underworld: Blood Wars’
Hot on the heels of the new trailer, it looks as though ‘Underworld: Blood Wars’ has given us an even better glimpse of Kate Beckinsale’s new look in this cool, new poster. This first one-sheet swaps Selene’s usual look for something a little more practical. And by that, we simply mean that she’s put on a coat.
Back in black? Not really… but that’s all white.
Kate Beckinsale once again returns as Selene - the vampy Death Dealer who (once again) finds herself doggedly pursued by both Vampires and Werewolves as the Lycans discover that her blood could make them invincible.
Yep - it’s all about blood, yet again.
Theo James returns to the role of David, with Tobias Menzies as the formidable new Lycan leader and Lara Pulver as a fiercely ambitious vampire who has set Selene in her sights. And what’s that? Charles Dance will return to play Vampire elder, Thomas. Trent Garrett will star as Michael Corvin - the Lycan/Vampire hybrid (and Selene’s lover) who was played by Scott Speedman in the first two films.
So what’s Selene’s new attire all about?
There’s currently very little in the way of plot info, as the recently revealed trailer acts as a lineup of gothy shots that could easily belong to any of the ‘Underworld’ movies. But with the entire shoot taking place in the Czech capital city of Prague, it looks as though Selene and her vampire/werewolf pals are heading to colder climates.
Presumably that’s why she’s now wearing a fur coat over her corset.
I mean, vampires still get chilly. Right?
‘Underworld: Blood Wars’ heads to cinemas on 3 February 2017.
