The actors who've been in the most bad movies named and shamed

For reasons perhaps only known to the cosmos, some actors are just magnets for terrible, terrible movies.

And now there are some actual stats (from Bingofind) to back this up, crunching numbers from reviews aggregator Metacritic.

Topping the rogue's gallery is the one and only Rob Schneider, the former Saturday Night Live alumnus, friend of Adam Sandler and star of movies like Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo and Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo.

A sturdy 65 percent of the movies Schneider has been in have been deemed 'bad' by critics.

He's followed by Freddie Prinze Jr., Reno 911! star Nick Swardson, Marlon Wayans and Adam Sandler himself (56 percent of his movies are bad).

In fact, four of the bottom 20 actors, Schneider, Swardson, Kevin James and David Spade, are frequent collaborators with Sandler, who in recent years has become a beacon for bad reviews.

When it comes to actresses, the least bankable, reviews-wise, are: Hilary Duff at number one, with a run of 69 percent bad movies, followed by Courteney Cox, Bella Thorne, Jessica Alba and Ali Larter.

Conversely, there are the actors who attract the best reviews.

According to the stats, Daniel Day-Lewis is you best bet for glowing notices with 81 percent of his movies being reviewed well, 19 percent receiving 'mixed' reviews, and 0 percent bad.

Mathieu Amalric, Adam Driver, Andy Serkis, and Tom Hiddleston follow behind.

Meanwhile, actresses most likely to appear in good movies are almost all British in the top five, with Carey Mulligan coming top, then Sally Hawkins, Tilda Swinton, Imelda Staunton and Greta Gerwig.
