Terminator 2: Judgment Day star Edward Furlong has revealed he is four years sober following an addiction to methamphetamines.

The actor was a child star in the 1990s but later developed a dependency on drugs and alcohol.

In a new interview with the Daily Mail, Furlong opened up on his addictions and recovery.

He added: "In my twenties, I was partying and wanting to go out every night, but I was so tired and I'd be drunk and want to do more cocaine so I could wake up and drink some more."

As a result of Furlong's meth addiction, his teeth started to rot and he recently had them replaced, something he says has given him more confidence: “It sounds weird for me to be talking about teeth because I don’t live and breathe the way I look but every time I looked in the mirror, it just bummed me out as a reminder of what I had done for all those years."
