Ms Marvel's Iman Vellani reveals the villain she wants to fight in season 2
Ms. Marvel star Iman Vellani has revealed which villain from Marvel's rogues gallery she'd like to go up against in the show's unconfirmed second season.
Vellani first appeared as the superpowered Ms. Marvel in the 2022 series of the same name on Disney+, and then later co-starred with Brie Larson and Teyonah Parris in 2023's The Marvels.
And, despite the end-credits tease of The Marvels implying that Kamala Khan might have her hands full with training some younger avengers (or, indeed, the Young Avengers), Vellani has teased who she'd like to see Ms. Marvel go up against, should a second season be announced.
Speaking to The Direct, Vellani revealed that Doc.X. is the next person on Ms. Marvel's hard-light hit list.

"Definitely Doc.X," she explained. "I think that's a great villain from the comics and can really resonate with the Gen Z audience. It would be so interesting—I don't know, messing with kids' psyche almost when you have this villain who only exists on your phone, and on your laptops, and on all your screens that we can't avoid."
Vellani also confirmed that the villain's arc in the comics is one of her personal favourites: "I think it'd be really interesting position to put them all in to fight against something that you can't even see, right?" she said. "So I would love to see that play out.”

In Marvel's comics, Doc.X is a sentient computer virus that's introduced to a computer game that Kamala is playing; the AI learns of Kamala's alter-ego, and begins blackmailing the superhero.
Despite not being officially announced, the show bosses of season 1 of Ms. Marvel previously teased a potential storyline for season two.
"We'll see what her power set could be even further," Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah told ComicBook.Com.
Season 1 on Ms. Marvel is available to stream on Disney+.
