Mysterious new Amazing Spider-Man 2 image

Marc Webb has recently been tweeting behind-the-scenes pics from web-slinging sequel ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’, but his latest image is a little bit cryptic.

The ‘500 Days Of Summer’ director tweeted a taped together collage of the 32nd President of the United States, Franklin D. Roosevelt – accompanied by a single hashtag: “#thepassage”.

We have no idea what the mysterious message could mean – but we do know there’s a Roosevelt Island in New York – the same place where the Green Goblin attacked a tram full of children in Sam Raimi’s 2002 ‘Spider-Man’.  Maybe we’re onto something?
