'NCIS: LA' Star Daniela Ruah Posted a Throwback Photo and She Looks So Much Like Her Kids

Watching Daniela Ruah on NCIS: Los Angeles has become one of our favorite parts of the week.

Besides the fact that her character is a seriously impressive special agent, she also makes up half of the best TV couple ever, Kensi and Deeks. But off the small screen, she’s just as amazing.

First off, she always cheers on Eric Christian Olsen, who plays Deeks on the show (and is her brother-in-law, by the way). Daniela also makes time for her husband and two kids, and pens relatable posts about juggling it all which really resonate with her fans.

But the best Daniela moments are probably the photos she shares from her childhood. We can’t get enough of this one she uploaded a few months back where she looks astoundingly similar to Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown.

That’s why we were particularly delighted when a new picture from her younger years appeared on the scene amidst a celebratory tribute to her dad on Portugal’s Father’s Day.

“My pops, me and a moustache circa 1989,” she wrote on the adorable shot of her on his shoulders. “Happy Father’s Day (in Portugal) to the first man I ever loved.”

We can’t get over how cute Daniela looks, and we have to admit we really dig her bright style. Especially the multicolor sweatshirt!

One fan also noted that “I see your kiddos faces in that smile!!!!” and it’s true. Daniela’s children look so much like her.

Yet another reason Daniela is great: She just gave us an upbeat post that made us smile and want to dig up our outerwear from the 80s!
