Yahoo Movies Neighbours star Takaya Honda ties the knot with partner Amy Schwab
Neighbours star Takaya Honda, who is best known for playing David Tanaka, recently got married to his long-term partner Amy Schwab.
Takaya has already made wedding history when his character tied the knot with Aaron two years ago and it became Australia's first on-screen gay wedding.
Now, the soap star has celebrated his own big day as he got married over the weekend at Sundays in Byron Bay, a luxury accommodation venue with panoramic views of the coast.

Amy wore an elegant, beaded couture dress with a matching white headpiece and David wore a beige suit and white shirt.
Other highlights from the couple's wedding include a romantic dance on the beach and a beautiful vegan cake made in the shape of their initials 'A and T'.
The wedding was put on hold due to the ongoing pandemic and as Takaya's mum was unable to attend the ceremony, he wanted her to be represented on his special day by including the colour purple where possible. This was done by their baker who added purple butterflies to the cupcakes that were made for the wedding.
During the ceremony, Takaya said: "Amy, you have never been a question, you have always been an answer, life never feels like an if, but a when, with you."
Amy shared a beautiful and moving set of vows: "For me, home is not a particular place, it is whenever I am with you.
"Getting married is brave, and I choose to be brave with you, Takaya, you make life so special and there's no-one else I want to be walking this path with.
"I have loved building a life with you so far and I look forward to all our exciting adventures and chapters to come as husband and wife."
Neighbours airs on weekdays at 1pm and 5:30pm on Channel 5.
