The first song from the soundtrack of Will Ferrell and Netflix's Eurovision movie has been released, along with the fittingly OTT title of the movie.

We now know that the movie — which will be released on June 26 — is called Eurovision Song Content: The Story of Fire Saga, with the first track 'Volcano Man' now available to listen to, and the bombastic music video is here too.

Suitably peppy and camp and Eurovision-esque, it's not yet clear what part of the movie the song will be part of, but it has been described as a "bop" already – and we can't help but agree.

Sung by Ferrell himself and the singer My Marianne, we get two serious vibes: Nordic countryside and some serious romance. There's talk of "highland fjords", a "melting heart", and "clouds on a mountain peak" and everything. Sweet.

Along with the competition it's inspired by, the release of Eurovision has been postponed due to the current pandemic. Will Ferrell and Rachel McAdams will star as aspiring Icelandic musicians keen for a victory at the legendary song contest.

The cast is set to be studded with stars. Demi Lovato and Pierce Brosnan were also announced as members of the cast earlier this year, with Lovato singing the track 'In The Mirror'.

Ferrell has also co-written the film with the former head writer of Saturday Night Live, Andrew Steele.

Both Pierce and fans alike will be hoping his turn as Erick Erickssong requires as little singing as possible – after all, the actor was himself "relieved" when he realised Sam Carmichael had less singing time in Mamma Mia!'s sequel.
