The Politician follows Payton Hobart (Platt), who knows he's going to become President one day, though must navigate the political landscape of his high school to get elected Student Body President first, as well as get into Harvard.

"Payton will have to outsmart his ruthless classmates without sacrificing his own morality and carefully crafted image," the synopsis adds.
