There’s going to be so much back-slapping in Hollywood at the Oscars on Sunday night that Honest Trailers have decided to pre-emptively cut them down to size by poking fun at all of the Best Picture nominees.

You can check out the clip, which lampoons ‘Arrival’, ‘Lion’, ‘Fences’, ‘Hacksaw Ridge’, ‘La La Land’, ‘Manchester By The Sea’, ‘Hell Or High Water’, ‘Hidden Figures’, and ‘Moonlight’, while throwing in a ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice’ quip for good measure, too, below.

Delightful. Especially because, while the above films clearly all have their merits, it’s fun to admit that parts of ‘Arrival’ don’t make a whole lot of sense, ‘Lion’ seems to constantly be overlooked, ‘Hacksaw Ridge’ was outrageously gory and violent, and that Casey Affleck didn’t really need a whole lot of inspiration for his role in ‘Manchester By The Sea’.

If there’s one thing that we can all agree on, too, it’s that ‘La La Land’ really didn’t deserve the Best Costume Design nomination. No offence Mary Zophres, but Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone are just wearing their normal clothes for most of the film.

Honest Trailers also made sure to poke fun at the inevitable wave of anti-Donald Trump speeches that will pepper the ceremony on Sunday, too. It’s not that he doesn’t deserve it, because clearly he does, it’s just that it’s going quickly become unbearable.

Stay tuned to Yahoo Movies UK on Sunday night/Monday morning for repeated updates on the 2017 Oscars, which will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel and will start at 1:30 a.m. GMT.
