New image of Tom Hardy as Mad Max emerges

A new picture of Tom Hardy on the set of Mad Max: Fury Road has hit the internet.
Posted on an Instagram fan page, the unofficial image sees Hardy in character as Max Rockatansky alongside the caption: "On the set of Mad Max look mighty fine, even dirty."

The actor recently returned to Australia to reshoot several scenes for the film following mixed feedback from a test screening.
The original Mad Max, Mel Gibson, will appear in the film algonside Charlize Theron, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Zoë Kravitz and Nicholas Hoult who were also required to return to the set.
[Fury Road set for 2015 release]
The film will see Max caught up in a battle with a group of people fleeing across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by the imperator Furiosa (Charlize Theron).
Mad Max: Fury Road will hit cinemas on May 15th, 2015.
