New Spider-Man: Homecoming trailer showcases Vulture and Iron Man
Following this week’s new posters, Sony Pictures has unleashed a new trailer for ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ and it’s absolutely flipping amazing.
Featuring Michael Keaton as Vulture, Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man, plus cameos from Captain America and the Avengers Tower, ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ is shaping up to be the Spider-Man movie Marvel fans always dreamed of back when the Webslinger was the sole hero of Sony Pictures’ superhero franchise.
As you can see Spider-Man has been gifted a new supersuit by Tony Stark and it appears to have a number of cool new features including autoadjusted fitting (‘Back To The Future: Part II’ eat your heart out), Spider-tracers, and improved web shooters.
It looks like Tony Stark takes the suit back from Tom Holland’s Peter Parker though following an incident on the Staten Island ferry involving Vulture. Keaton’s Vulture looks every bit the supervillain with ‘Homecoming’ marking his third outing as a winged comic book character after ‘Batman’ and ‘Birdman’.
The new trailer has also given us our first look at Donald Glover whose character still remains unknown, however from the new footage it looks like he’s working with Vulture rather than being Miles Morales (another Spider-Man in the comics) as everyone was hoping.
After losing his Stark Industry-created supersuit, Spider-Man resorts to a homemade effort which we have to admit also looks kinda awesome.
‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ arrives in cinemas 7 July, 2017. Watch the first trailer below.
