James Bond star Rami Malek has lined-up a brand new project, with the actor set to star in the upcoming thriller Amateur.

Confirmed by Deadline, the Oscar winning actor will be playing the leading role, with Slow Horses' James Hawes directing the project.

The film will follow a CIA cryptographer who is haunted by his wife's death in a terror attack and pushes his bosses to pursue the case. However, when the agency isn't able to act on the case due to internal conflicts, he demands to be trained so he can go after his wife's killers himself.
