Chris Rock’s inner competitive dad came out at last night’s Oscars ceremony, as he introduced his daughters Lola and Zahra to the star-laded audience and got them selling their Girl Scout cookies.

“I’ve been away from my two daughters at a very important time in their life. I have missed most of Girl Scout cookie season,” he said.

“Last night Zahra, my youngest called me up and said, “Daddy how come we never sell the most cookies? How come Mrs. Dunn wins every year?”

“It would mean so much to my little girl if we could beat Linda Dunn.

“I want you to reach into your millionaire pockets and buy some of my daughters’ Girl Scout cookies,’ he announced as a photo of his girls flashed up behind him.

“Alright, Tina Fey, get that money, girl. Charlize Theron, yes. Matt Damon, yes. Leo, you made $30 million—come on!”

Celebs like Christian Bale, Michael Keaton and Tina Fey were seen immediately tucking in, while the likes of Steven Spielberg, Benicio Del Toro and vice president Joe Biden among those also wading in, buying famous varieties like Thin Mints, Tagalongs and Samoas.

Rock then joked that incarcerated star Suge Knight had bought the most, flipping to a shot of ‘Straight Outta Compton’s R. Marcos Taylor strapped to a trolley and flanked by guards dressed up as the rap mogul.

And indeed, the guilt tripping really paid off – the girls brought in an impressive $65,243 in all.

Have that, Mrs. Dunn.

All money made from the sale of Girl Scout cookies goes back into the long-running organisation’s coffers, paying for outdoors programmes, group travel and activities.

It’ll be a nature ramble to Bali for Rock’s daughters’ troop, then.
