Best movie on Paramount Plus in September: Terminator 2: Judgment Day (September 1)
Watch one of the best action movies ever made? Don't mind if I do. Before James Cameron put all his focus on Pandora, he caused a sensation with one of the greatest action sequels of all time, Terminator 2: Judgment Day. While the first Terminator was a mix of action and horror, Terminator 2 leans heavy into the action with sequences that are still amazing to watch. The icing on the cake, Linda Hamilton and Arnold Schwarzenegger give career-defining performances, as does Robert Patrick as the shape-shifting new Terminator.
Other new titles to try on Paramount Plus this month include American Hustle, sci-fi standouts Annihilation and Arrival, classic western comedies in Blazing Saddles and The Three Amigos, Martin Scorsese's Hugo, Sean Connery in The Hunt for Red October and Jennifer Lawrence's insane Mother!
Best TV show on Paramount Plus in September: Star Trek: Lower Decks (September 4)
While we're in an exciting new era of Star Trek live-action series with Strange New Worlds and Discovery, one of the standout new series for Trekkies to enjoy has been the animated Star Trek: Lower Decks. Boldly going into its fourth season, Lower Decks continues to bring the laughs as it follows the support team on one of Starfleet's ships. The events of the show are officially canon now too, as Tawny Newsome and Jack Quaid reprised the characters they voiced in an episode of Strange New Worlds.
Best live sport on Paramount Plus in August: football
To be clear, we’re talking American football here (though there's plenty of football/soccer streaming in September as well). College football on Paramount Plus is going to feature either an SEC or Big Ten matchup almost every week between now and Thanksgiving, while local and national NFL on CBS games are also going to stream, making sure you have as much football as you can handle.
