Kurupt FM's MC Grindah has revealed that his historical heroes include Attila the Hun, Nelson Mandela and Peggy from EastEnders.

During a live Q&A discussion for Yahoo Entertainment UK to promote their new movie People Just Do Nothing: Big In Japan, Kurupt FM discussed their tips for anybody looking to break into the creative world.

Grindah - played by Allan Mustafa - revealed that there haven't been many in history who can claim his level of ability.

"In a way, no one has any talent. There's only maybe 10 of me ever in history," said Grindah, before listing some of the people who could possibly stack up against him.

"Bob Marley, Atilla the Hun, Tupac, Elvis, Jay Leno. Mandela, I suppose, pop him in. Frank Sinatra. That's literally it."

When challenged by host Anna Smith on why his heroes were all men, Grindah said there were a handful of female performers who could also lay claim.

He added: "There's loads of women that are good at it. Madonna, Ms. Dynamite, Peggy from EastEnders, Dolly Parton. There's loads.

"What's her name as well? Tina Turner, absolutely incredible voice. Toni Braxton, I used to play her album all the time.

"There is a lot of male and female people out there, but probably only about 10 of each.

"For anyone else, do surround yourself with other creatives. Surround yourself with other people. Because you can get on that journey together and the five of you can make one."
