People are speculating over these new photos of Princess Eugenie on holiday

From Cosmopolitan

It's been almost two years since Princess Eugenie married Jack Brooksbank at St George's Chapel in Windsor. And, while any pregnancy plans are nobody's business but their own, the royal couple has become the focus of yet more speculation that they might be expecting a baby.

New photographs of Eugenie and Jack have emerged on Twitter, showing the couple arriving at the Balmoral Estate in Scotland to visit the Queen who's there on her summer holiday. In the pictures, Princess Eugenie can be seen wearing a green overcoat with black leggings, and she's carrying an orange parcel that looks to be a gift for her grandmother.

But over in the comments, there seems to be one main question on the agenda: Is Princess Eugenie pregnant? And of course that's what people are speculating - because she is a human with a uterus of childbearing age!

"I think Eugenie is pregnant," one comment bluntly said. "Eugenie. Hmmm. Is that just her coat?" read another. And, while we're sure these messages have been sent in excitement at the prospect of another royal baby, there doesn't actually appear to be any visible bump on the Princess. So it's probably all just wishful thinking.

Eugenie and Jack aren't the only royals to have taken a holiday to visit Queen Elizabeth; her youngest son, Prince Edward, and his family were also photographed there along with his niece and nephew-in-law.

Every summer Her Majesty travels to Balmoral Castle in Scotland along with husband Prince Philip and, despite the pandemic, the monarch's traditional plans were able to go ahead. As the Queen traditionally spends a couple of months up there every summer, it's common for various members of her family to visit her at different points.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were believed to have accepted an invitation to pay her a visit at Balmoral this year, along with baby Archie. But now they're living in Santa Barbara, and thanks to the pandemic, those plans have most likely been thwarted. But Prince William, Kate Middleton and the children - who recently went on a staycation of their own, may well make their annual visit, so there'll be plenty of people around for company!
