Wearing a face covering in shops and enclosed public spaces is now mandatory in England.

This includes when in supermarkets, indoor shopping centres, banks and takeaways, as well as on public transport, where it has been compulsory to wear face coverings since June to help defend against the coronavirus.

Only children under the age of 11 and those with disabilities or certain health conditions are exempt from the rule.

This means that a face mask is now the accessory we reach for the most - that and our trusty M&S espadrilles - and so for many of us, disposable non-medical face masks will no longer do.

From matching our face mask to our dress, to donning Disney’s very own contribution to the world of face coverings, we’re really making the face mask laws work for us where fun and fashion are concerned.

One thing that’s hard to avoid though, is the fact that wearing a mask makes us look less like ourselves.

But it doesn’t have to be that way, because you can now buy a personalised mask with your actual face printed onto it.

The Personalised Mask Your Face Covering costs £14 from Not On The High Street and can be created just by uploading your photo the site.

The masks are ethically produced, suitable for everyday use, comfortable to wear with adjustable straps and mean that people get the full picture when looking at your face - quite literally.

The cotton face mask is particularly suited for when your face really does need to be recognised, for example, if you’re a teacher or work in customer service.

But it’s also just a nice way to feel like yourself while keeping others safe.
