Peter Andre issues warning to Strictly Come Dancing contestants

Peter Andre has warned the 'Strictly Come Dancing' contestants that their time on the show will be hard.

The 51-year-old pop star took part in the BBC Latin and ballroom show in 2015 and was eliminated just weeks before the final but as the likes of 'Love Island' star Tasha Ghouri, former 'Coronation Street' actor Shayne Ward and singer Toyah Willcox prepare to hit the dance floor, has admitted that it is not an "easy" thing to do.

Writing in his OK! Magazine column, he said: "Strictly Come Dancing is back this week and, having done the show, the one thing I’ll say to the contestants is, 'It’s not easy – you have to work your butt off!' The judges are all professional dancers, so they’re watching every move you make on stage. You’re learning a real skill."

The 'Mysterious Girl' hitmaker revealed that he is "rooting" for JLs singer JB Gill and presenter Nick Knowles and that he currently lives in the house once owned by the man who wrote the programme's theme song.

He said: "I’m rooting for Nick Knowles and JB Gill, just because I know them more, but everyone will be amazing. The man who owned my house before me was the person who wrote the theme tune. He told me the exact spot where he wrote it – which is in my garden. I couldn’t believe it."

Meanwhile, the former 'I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!' contestant- who is married to Emily Macdomagh, 35, and as Millie, 10, Theo, seven, and three-month-old Arabella with her - revealed that there are plans for himself and Emily to host their own podcast.

Pete - who also has Junior, 19, and 17-year-old Princess with ex-wife Katie Price- wrote: "Emily and I have spoken about doing our own podcast but we want to try something different so watch his space. At the moment though, with a baby and everything being so busy, it may not be easy but I’m always up for a challenge."
