Poldark's Aidan Turner Named Sexiest Man On The Planet

Galmour magazine has confirmed what many people already knew, by naming ‘Poldark’ star Aidan Turner the sexiest man on planet Earth.

Turner topples last year’s winner, 'Fifty Shades of Grey’ star Jamie Dornan, who sits in second place ahead of Tom Hiddleston, who retains the bronze medal position.

The 32-year-old Brit has been in the business since 2007, nabbing his first major role in BBC series 'Being Human’ before turning to the big screen to play Kili in Peter Jackson’s 'The Hobbit’ trilogy.

Of course his breakout role was in the BBC’s period drama 'Poldark’ - in which, let’s be fair here, his abs made him more famous than fine acting ability ever could.

More recently he appeared in the Beeb’s Christmas adaptation of Agatha Christie’s ‘And Then There Were None’, in which he wore just a towel for much longer than was strictly necessary on an island full of murders.

Glamour’s annual poll was decided by over 340,00 votes. The Top 20 is listed below in full (with another picture of Turner with his top off thrown in for good measure).
