The 26-year-old actor was arrested on 17 June after a high-speed chase along the freeway and as you can see from the video, it’s hair-raising stuff.

The police shot the film from their dashboard camera, showing Lloyd’s truck veering towards the verge on the side of the road at 100mph before he loses control just over a minute and forty seconds later and driving into some trees.

Lloyd, who also starred in ‘Jingle All The Way’ with Arnold Schwarzenegger, dropped off the radar post-‘Phantom Menace’, occasionally re-appearing to reprise his role in various ‘Star Wars’ videogames.

He was arrested on charges of resisting arrest, failure to stop, reckless driving and driving without a licence and remains in custody.
