First Fantastic Beasts Trailer Coming Next Week

‘Harry Potter’ fans will get their first look at the series spin-off ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them’ next week when the first trailer is unleashed to the world.

The official social media accounts for the movie revealed the so-called “announcement trailer” will be released online on Tuesday 15 December, via the medium of a mini trailer - watch it below.

The new movie set in JK Rowling’s “Wizarding World” is based in 1920s New York, years before the events of the Potter saga, and tells the story of New Scamander, a magizoologist played by Oscar-winner Eddie Redmayne, who must track down the magical beasts of the title when they’re accidentally set free in the Big Apple.

David Yates, the director of the last four ‘Potter’ films and the upcoming ‘Legend of Tarzan’ is helming the film which is likely to be the first part of a trilogy of films, although that’s yet to be officially announced by studio Warner Bros..

Joining Eddie in New York is Katherine Waterston as Newt’s love interest Tina Goldstein, Alison Sudol as Tina’s sister Queenie, and Dan Fogler as Jacob Kowalski.

‘Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them’ is coming to cinemas in November, 2016.
