Margot Robbie Misspelled A Suicide Squad Tattoo

Thinking of getting a ‘Suicide Squad’ tattoo? Don’t ask Margot Robbie…

It’s no secret that the cast and crew of ‘Suicide Squad’ got their very own tattoos to commemorate the movie - courtesy of Harley Quinn actress, Margot Robbie.

But one crew member didn’t quite get what he asked for…

During an interview on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the 25-year-old ‘Suicide Squad’ actress revealed that she may have misspelled someone’s ‘Skwad’ tattoo.

“I have a tattoo gun now,” she said. “I’ve given 26 tattoos. I gave myself a tattoo on my foot… At first I had to really beg people, and then it kinda became a thing and people ask me now. They’re like ‘Oh I’ll get one, it’ll be funny’.”

“I spelled one wrong once,” she explained. “That was extremely awkward. I was writing a word and I spelt it wrong… it’s ‘skwad’ – when we were shooting ‘Suicide Squad’ we all got ‘skwad’ tattoos.”

Of course, Harley Quinn’s tattoo parlour has since become a bit of a thing… after photos were revealed of Margot Robbie tattooing the cast and crew while suited up in her ‘Suicide Squad’ costume.

But you might want to think twice before asking her to do one for you…

“Jai Courtney who’s in the film plays Boomerang and his cast assistant is this epic dude, his name’s Simon… and he put his hand up first to get the first ‘skwad’ tattoo. It’s pretty big – it’s on his arm. Everyone was misspelling it as ‘S-K-W-A-D’ but I went straight from the ‘S’ to the ‘W’.”

Not quite as a cool as he originally thought… but then, it’s a pretty unique reminder of his time on ‘Suicide Squad’. And we doubt he’ll forget that in a hurry.

Although he might want to think about laser removal…

‘Suicide Squad’ heads to cinemas on 5 August 2016.
