The Dark Knight Voted Nation’s Favourite Batman Film

The British public think ‘The Dark Knight’ is the best live action Batman film to date, according to a Yahoo Movies poll.

Christopher Nolan’s 2008 Batsequel, starring Christian Bale and Heath Ledger, was the number one choice for our readers by a large margin winning a huge 52.2% of the 868 votes cast.

Tim Burton’s ‘Batman’ came in second winning 18% of the votes, while Nolan’s first Caped Crusader caper ‘Batman Begins’ came in third with 9.2%.

Joel Schumacher’s two entries in the franchise ‘Batman Forever’ and ‘Batman & Robin’ only managed to tally 30 votes between them, meaning they were ranked Batman’s worst two films.
