Power Rangers' all-new Zords attack on new poster

Eagle-eyed Power Rangers fans would have spotted the Zords in the newest trailer, but this new poster has given us a clearer look.

In case you're unaware why you should be so bothered about a Zord, they're basically the Power Rangers version of a Transformer (kind of), an assault vehicle that help our heroes and can combine to form a Megazord.

Each Ranger has their own Zord so if the reboot follows the original series at all, then we'll be seeing the Red Ranger pilot a Tyrannosaurus Zord and the Blue Ranger aboard a Triceratops, and so on.

We'll have to wait until the movie comes out to see how faithful they've been, but this poster makes them seem pretty neat to us.

You might even be able to spot a Snapchat logo on the poster which, according to Lionsgate, will give anyone who scans it access to a new, immersive 360-degree Power Rangers 'Lens'.

Basically, it'll put you into the suit of the Red Ranger and allow you to see the Zords and the fellow rangers, probably about as close as anyone will get to being an actual Power Ranger.

The new trailer unveiled last month gave us our first proper look at Bryan Cranston's "frustrated mentor" Zordon, who is responsible for the Rangers getting their own Zords.

And given the destruction that Elizabeth Banks's Rita Repulsa wreaks in the latest trailer, our Rangers will need all the help they can get.

Power Rangers morphs into UK cinemas on March 23 and US cinemas on March 24.
