  • Prince Harry has added fuel to the fire of rumours that Meghan Markle is pregnant for the second time

  • On a royal trip to an army housing estate in Windsor, it has been reported that the Prince spoke openly about families and parenting

  • The conversation was said to be focused on life with two children and the changing dynamics after baby number two

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle paid a surprise visit to military spouses and children during a coffee morning for Remembrance Day last week.

The couple dropped in to a community centre to visit some of their neighbours at an army housing estate in Windsor last week where they spoke to people who have a family member serving with the armed forces.

A post on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's Instagram account showed Meghan shaking hands with women and adorably high-fiving one toddler while bending down to talk to more. Prince Harry was also seen gleefully playing with some of the children and taking part in games with their toys.

After the visit, one of the women at the centre spoke to Forces news about the couple's visit and also revealed how she and the Duke got on to the topic of parenting and expanding families.

'Having our babies so close in age with their baby, I think they were keen to sort of chat to other parents of a similar age,' one woman said.

'Harry was really quite interested in how things were with second children as well because we've got older children and so we were trying to encourage him as well to have a second baby.'

The fact that Harry was asking people with two children what the family dynamic is like has left some royal fans wondering if this means there will be a second child for the royal couple sooner than people might think - though, of course, the excitement of a royal baby naturally means most comments from either Harry or Meghan in this area fuel the rumour mill.

The Duke of Sussex has previously indicated he and Meghan would like more than one child, telling environmentalist Jane Goodall for British Vogue during the summer that the couple want 'two, maximum'.

The NHS says that 'you can get pregnant as little as 3 weeks after the birth of a baby, even if you're breastfeed and your periods haven't started again'.

While having a baby less than a year after the first might not be the most common time frame for a second pregnancy, it is up to the Duchess of Sussex and Duke when and if they decide to have a second child.

The couple were spotted out twice over the weekend, joining the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Queen, Prince Charles and other members of the royal family to mark Remembrance Sunday.

On Saturday evening, the couple attended the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall, with Meghan wearing a black Erdem dress for the occasion.

Sunday morning saw the royals head to the Cenotaph on Whitehall for the traditional Remembrance Sunday service and procession.
