It's been a week since Princess Eugenie announced that she and husband Jack Brooksbank were expecting a baby, almost two years after the pair got married. And now the royal mum-to-be has been photographed out and about along with her blooming baby bump. Ahhh, this is so nice to see!

The 30-year-old granddaughter of the Queen was spotted out walking in Mayfair, London on Wednesday this week, wearing a floral dress, a forest green coat and a patterned mask. Although it was a windy day and Eugenie's dress was blowing around, you can still see the shape of her emerging bump below a belt.

It's still a few months until baby Brooksbank is due to arrive, with Eugenie announcing that she's set to become a mother in 'early 2021'.. Sharing the happy news on her Instagram account, the Princess described how she and Jack are 'so excited' to become parents, and uploaded a previously-unseen photograph of the couple along with a picture of the cutest little fluffy baby booties shaped like teddy bears.

The official royal announcement said a similar thing, but in a typically more formal manner. 'Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are very pleased to announce that they are expecting a baby in early 2021,' the statement, shared on social media, read.

Although Eugenie's baby news came as a very happy surprise, earlier this summer there had been some speculation that she might be expecting. The royal was pictured with husband Jack up in Scotland, visiting her grandmother the Queen on the Balmoral estate, and the photos led to some people wondering whether she might have a baby on the way.

In the pictures, Princess Eugenie was seen wearing a green overcoat with black leggings, and some people thought she might have been covering up the beginnings of a bump. Now we know they were right, and almost two months later, that bump is very much visible!

We're so excited to continue to watch Eugenie's pregnancy develop, and to welcome the arrival of the newest royal family member at the start of next year.
