Princess Madeleine of Sweden gives birth to baby No. 3

Congratulations are in order for Princess Madeleine and her husband Chris O'Neill who welcomed their third child -- a baby girl -- on March 9.

According to a statement by the Swedish Royal Court, the newborn weighed 7.6 pounds and measured 19.7 inches at birth. Both mother and baby are doing well.

"We are delighted with the new addition to our family," O’Neill said. "Leonore and Nicolas have their long-awaited sibling. They can’t wait to meet their new baby sister."

Madeleine, 35, delivered baby No. 3 at Stockholm's Danderyd Hospital after she recently flew home to prepare for the birth rather than deliver in London where their family currently resides. Their firstborn, 4-year-old Princess Leonore, was delivered at a private New York Hospital, while 2-year-old Prince Nicolas was also born at the same Stockholm hospital.

The royal couple first broke the news on Facebook in August, revealing that they were looking forward to becoming a family of five.

In an interview with Expressen in July 2016, Madeleine and Chris revealed they wanted to have a large family ... meaning baby No. 4 isn't out of the question!

"We want to have more children. One or two more in the future, absolutely."
